Red and Gold Swirly Stamped Christmas Tree Card

Hello Again
I wanted to share this card with you because it is so easy to do but is very elegant when it is finished. Also there are a number of different ways you can achieve this look depending on which technique you prefer to use.

Hand made stamped and gilded swirly Christmas tree card

The swirly Christmas tree is a quite a large stamp measuring approximately 9 x 10.5cm so I used a 15cm sq white card blank for the base and layered that with red card, then white card and red again (if I made this again I would definitely try it with a gold layer instead of the white). I stamped the Christmas tree in the centre of the red card with Indigoblu Flitterglu and gilded it with gold gilding flake. I put a small gold adhesive crystal in each corner and added a small gold peel off greeting.

If you don't like the gilding technique or don't have the necessary supplies you could stamp the tree with gold ink which will give a flat image like the gilded one or you could stamp the tree in clear ink and emboss it with gold embossing powder to give it a slightly raised appearance.

Thanks for reading, hope you like it.
