Woodland Christmas Shaker Card

I love this Hunkydory Crafts Woodland Christmas set, and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to use one of the round toppers inside a round shaker dome, it was also a good excuse to try out our new Soft Snowdrift chunky glitter to give a snowy effect inside the shaker dome.
Using a ready made card topper made the card very easy to assemble. The topper was slightly smaller than the dome so I mounted it on a die cut circle of silver mirror card, tipped some Super Snowdrift glitter on top and stuck the shaker dome over it using a few dabs of glue on the rim.

The topper set includes two sheets of co-ordinating patterned card stock, I cut one of these slightly smaller than the card blank and die cut a circle from it to go over the shaker dome. The greeting is stamped in black on white card and mounted on the black patterned card and silver mirror card, I used foam pads to adhere this to the card to lift it a little. You can't really see it in the photo but for a finishing touch I put a drop of glitter glue on each of the tiny colored dots on the black card.
