Embossed Wedding Card with a Pearl Cluster Border

Hi everyone, it's ages since I made a wedding card and when we got these new pearl clusters in stock recently I immediately thought wedding! I wanted to make the lovely pearls the main feature of the card so kept the rest of it very simple.

I chose a white square 6 x 6 card blank and cut a square of white card very slightly smaller than it. I cut the white card into roughly one third/two thirds. I dry embossed a design onto the two thirds piece and sprayed it with Pearl Glimmer Mist spray (which I don't think you can really see in the photo but it looked great).

I adhered the two pieces of card to the card front as shown and used the pearl clusters to cover the join. the pearl clusters come in packs of three strips with a large pearl at each end, I cut the large pearl off the end of one of the strips to join them together and have a large pearl at either end.

A gold Congratulations peel off finishes it off.

I love the simplicity of the card, I think it would look equally good in different color combinations too.
Thank you for looking in. I hope you like it and look forward to hearing your comments.
