Quick and Easy Christmas Card with a Stamped Greeting.

Hi Everyone, not long until Christmas now so I thought I would do a card that can be put together quickly for emergency makes and anyone who is still making cards and feels like they are running out of time!

Hand made Christmas card with die cut tartan background and heat embossed greeting

Start with a white A6 blank card, cut a piece of tartan paper to the same width as the card and 8cm tall, adhere this with double sided tape to the bottom portion of the card blank.

Cut a piece of cream and gold pearlised card stock to the same width as the card blank and 10cm tall, die cut this along the bottom edge using the stitched die from the Concord and 9th Select a Size die set. Position the die so that the 'V' is offset to the left side of the card, adhere this to the top portion of the card blank, overlapping the tartan piece.

The stamp comes with a second line of text below the 'Merry Christmas' but I cut this off to use the greeting on it's own. Stamp with Watermark ink along the longer edge of the cream card and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.

Die cut a piece of holly from green card and use a Quickie glue pen to adhere it to the card above the greeting, add a 5mm red adhesive pearl for a berry.

There are lots of ways you could vary this card to use your existing supplies, see what I used linked below.
Hope you like the card, please leave a comment to let me know what you think.
