Start with a white A6 blank card, cut a piece of pink card and a piece of white vellum just a couple of mm smaller than the blank card. Emboss the vellum then adhere it to the pink card using Vellum Invisi Dots, adhere both of these to the card blank with double sided tape.
Cut a strip of silver card the same width as the card blank and about 2cm wide and a piece of white card the same width but a few mm narrower. Adhere the white on top of the silver and cut 'tails' into each end of the strip. Adhere the strip across the card slightly above half way.
Stamp the flowers twice with watermark ink and heat emboss with silver embossing powder, fussy cut both groups of flowers and adhere them over the white and silver strip, use a mixture of double sided tape, 1mm and 3mm foam pads to adhere the flowers as they will be at different levels.
Take a white and silver die cut congratulations message from the sheet, use a sanding block or nail file to gently sand away any notches on the die cut piece, then adhere this with double sided tape below the flowers and to the right side of the card.
I'm pleased with the way this turned out I like the way the vellum softens the colour of the card underneath. Please leave a comment below to let me know what you think.
