Foiled Stags Head Winter Birthday Card

Hi Everyone, we have just got this new Stag Head hot foil stamp in from Crafter's Companion and I couldn't wait to give it a go. The hot foil stamp is compatible with both the GoPress and Foil machine and the Foilpress machine. I need a masculine birthday card for someone in December, so decided to use it to make that first before I try it out on some Christmas cards. We also have a new 6 x 6 paper pad in stock full of tartans and checks which just seemed to work perfectly with the stags head.

I had to take the photo at a bit of an odd angle to stop reflection off the foiled image. The card base is a standard 6 x 6 inch white card, layered with kraft card, gold mirror card and then the tartan. The stags head is foiled in gold onto cream and gold pearlescent card. The bottom edge of the card has been cut with an edger die that cuts a straight edge V shape with stitching. I lined the point of the V up with the diagonal tartan paper and glued it all in place. 

I wanted to continue the gold mirror look so used a gold peel off birthday greeting on the same pearlescent card and attached that to the bottom right edge of the card. Three gold adhesive metal gems added just enough decoration.
