Six Days Six Dies Day 2 Stamped and Die Cut New Home Card

For Day 2 of our Six Days Six Dies feature I used the cut and stitch die to cut the rolling hills behind the house to match the stitching detail on the lovely Woodware Bless This House Stamp.
Once again it's a very simple card, I started with a 15 x 15cm white card blank and blended blue distress ink across the top portion for the sky. I used the stitch and cut die from the Spellbinders Curved Borders 2 set to cut two pieces of green card for the background hills and overlapped them for the bottom portion of the card.

I stamped the house in black on white card and fussy cut it. I coloured it with water colour pencils leaving some of it in the original white, and used the smallest size of purple adhesive candies to add a bit of shine and glitter to the centres of the flowers. The clumps of flowers on the hills and the flying birds are hand drawn and the sentiment is stamped in white ink.

You could use any kind of marker to colour the house and add a variety of different embellishments to the background area.

Materials used:
A great stamp with loads of possibilities for colours etc.
Hope you like it, leave your comments to let me know.

  4. You are very kind Annette but too hard on yourself, the card is supposed to look a little childish or naive, I am sure yours was lovely too!
