Six Days Six Dies Day 3 Flower Girl Birthday Card

For Day 3 I have used one of the more elaborate dies in the set which cuts a scalloped edge with a pin pricked line beside it, which you can just about make out in the photograph.
Teamed with another card topper from the Hunkydory Flower Girl Sheet and some lilac card it makes a very pretty birthday card.

I used a white card blank, trimmed the lilac card to the same width and about two thirds the height then cut the bottom edge with the scalloped border die. I wrapped the gingham ribbon around the purple card before attaching to the card base and tied it in a simple knot.
I inked the edges of the card topper with a violet ink pad, positioned that over the ribbon and fixed it with adhesive foam pads to add a little dimension. I finished it all off with some lilac flowers and a stamped happy birthday greeting using the same violet ink pad.

• Spellbinders Curved Borders 2 die cutters.
• Colorbox Catseye pigment ink pad Violet.
• Just To Say clear stamp set.
• 1mm Adhesive Foam Pads.
