I started with a square white card blank and added a layer of pale pink card that coordinates with the paper flowers.
I cut a square of cream card slightly smaller than the pink layer and stamped it with the Vive La Plume stamp, then blended ink over the surface, scruffed the edges of the card and inked those too.
I arranged the Mulberry paper flowers and leaves and added a gold die cut butterfly, then glued the rim of the shaker dome and placed it over the flower arrangement holding it in place until it was set. I die cut a gold circle frame to go over the rim of the shaker dome creating a neat finish.
I used a gold Sharpie pen to color some natural self adhesive pearls and arranged these in one corner, saving one pearl for the body of another die cut butterfly, this time in pink which sits above the die cut pop out greeting.
I really like the vintage feel of this card and the way the shaker dome makes the paper flowers 'pop'. I hope you like it too, please leave a comment below to let me know.
