Start with a piece of white card approximately 9 x 15cm using stencil tape fix it to a board or other firm flat surface, then tape the stencil down on top of it. Using a small spatula spread the texture paste all over the stencil, removing the excess and smoothing it off with the edge of the spatula. Carefully lift off the stencil, sprinkle the texture paste with pearl embossing powder and leave to dry (chance to clean your stencil and spatula before the texture paste dries on). Once it is dry use a heat gun to melt the embossing powder and create the lovely pearlised effect.
Using a straight, dot edge die, cut two pieces of pearlised card approx 4.75 x 15cm and 2.5 x 15cm so that the dot edge is along the long sides of each piece of card. Cut and layer another piece of pearlised card 5 x 6cm onto a slightly larger piece of dark red card.
To assemble the card, adhere the stencilled panel to a 15cm square white card blank about 2cm in from the right side of the card. Use adhesive foam pads to attach the two pieces of pearlised card, either side of the stencilled panel and slightly overlapping it. Stick the dark red wedding greeting peel off to the layered card square along with a small peel off heart, use double sided tape to fix this in position on the left panel towards the bottom of the card. Finally stick two more peel off hearts at the top of the right panel.
I am really pleased with the way this card turned out, the lace stencil is perfect for a wedding theme, as is the white on white. I hope you like it too and would love to hear your comments. Thank you for reading.
