Start with an A6 Kraft card blank, die cut a Christmas tree, position it on the card and mark it's position with a pencil, whilst it is still in position, cut a piece of Kraft card stock about half a centimetre smaller than the card blank and lay that over the card and die cut tree, feel for the edge of the tree and mark the position on the card, this will give you a guide for cutting the tree shaped aperture.
Die cut a tree shaped aperture from the Kraft card using the marked position, then dry emboss it with the snowflake embossing folder. (Make sure you die cut before you emboss otherwise the embossing will get flattened when you run it through the die cutting machine).
Place the Christmas tree shaped shaker dome over the die cut Christmas tree and the die cut card over that and get everything in position. Carefully lift the card panel off and mark the position for the shaker dome. Use a Quickie glue pen to put glue on the back of the die cut tree and fix it in place on the card. Pour some of the micro beads carefully on to the tree, then glue the shaker dome in position over the tree with the micro beads inside.
To finish off use double sided tape to attach the card panel and 3mm foam pads to adhere the greeting. Put a small enamel dot at the centre of each embossed snowflake.
The Kraft card looks lovely when it's embossed and the colour scheme gives the whole thing quite a Scandinavian feel - I'm happy! Thank you for visiting, hope you like it, please leave a comment to let me know what you think.
